Ric Hochet (ரிப்போர்ட்டர் ஜானி) is the hero of the series of comic strip of the same name.

The series is carried out by Tibet (drawing) and A. - P. Duchâteau (scenario), it counts 71 albums.

The character was created in 1955, the Bourdon police chief being inspired by that of the Maigret police chief and the Bourdel inspector Five last minutes. The first episode Signé Chameleon is published in the Tintin newspaper.
